Juan is a highly accomplished guitarist and music educator based in Houston, Texas, known for his versatility, professionalism, and passion for excellence in both performance and instruction. With a strong foundation in jazz and musical theater, Juan has performed in a wide variety of musical settings, ranging from jazz ensembles and stage productions to faith-based worship services.

Though his roots are in jazz, Juan’s journey in music began in the church, where he served faithfully as a worship guitarist during his youth. This early experience sparked not only his love for music but also his dedication to ministry through his craft.

In addition to performing, Juan is a respected music educator, currently teaching at two colleges and offering private guitar instruction throughout the Houston area. He is committed to helping students grow in both skill and creativity, fostering a new generation of musicians with excellence and purpose.

Now featured on VRE Music, Juan continues to use his gifts to serve churches, events, and educational institutions, bringing a heart of worship and a high level of musical artistry wherever he plays.
